Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, world's oldest and largest koala sanctuary and a must visit place in Brisbane, Queensland. One of my to-do list items is to hug a koala bear and living in Sydney, New South Wales the laws don't allow one to hold animals. Queensland is bit relaxed on that policy and I had the opportunity to hold a koala.
The sanctuary has free-roaming kangaroos in a huge reserve where visitors can feed and pet kangaroos. Emus as well walk freely within the reserve.
