Nothing is more pleasant than a winter morning drive in southern India.
Pondicherry used to have sandy beaches and this is clearly a proof of ocean moving in.
Unlike Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry always gives you a feel of calmness. Pleasantness is always in the air.
Auroville is all about betterment of human life.
It's neither an ashram nor a tourist spot.
It looks forest-y but the place is well maintained by its residents and the woods is as safe as it can get with securities and people all around.
Way to meditation dome.
Unfortunately I couldn't capture the night setting of this place. You will feel like you are sitting under Eva (in movie Avatar). Such is the setting of this place.
It's not a tourist destination but a place of living from people all around the world.
Matrimandir - A place of meditation. Auroville has no religion and it doesn't preach any divinity.
Photographs are not allowed inside the dome. You can sit and meditate and feel aura of the sun but this is as close as you can get, which is through your lens.
